MINIMUM STAYS – minimum of 2 night stay from Friday- Thursday One night stays are permitted ONLY on Thursdays.
We do not offer Saturday check in or check out.
Unfortunately no pets are permitted.
Fish spawning season,
Please bear in mind when booking, we do not offer rearrangements for bookings or refunds that fall in place of spawning season. If for any reason the fish start to spawn during your dates, you will be asked to remove your rods from fishing and commence the rest of your stay to a relaxing glamping break.
Food, Drinks AND Snacks.
Only food, drinks and snacks served from our bistro are permitted on site. We DO NOT allow any food, drinks, snacks or alcohol to be brought on site for consumption.
1 night stay food package,
Dinner on night of arrival followed by dessert, breakfast the following morning prior to check out. £35 per person
2 night stay food package,
Dinner on night of arrival followed by dessert, breakfast the following morning, lunch and then dinner in the evening with desert, finished with breakfast on the morning prior to check out £80 per person
Our talented chefs freshly prepare your meals every day using only locally sourced produce.
We operate on a pre order basis with plenty of freshly prepared meals to chose from to minimize wastage and to maximize your dining experience. If you feel peckish in between meal times don’t worry we have an extensive snack list as well as soft drinks and alcohol to quench your thirst. All food and drinks are delivered to your door via our hospitality team.

Check in time : 2pm Check out Time: 10am. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate earlier check in or later check out. This is due to the clean down required of each pod and its contents.

2 night stays you need x3 green available dates,

When booking please only select your day of arrival and your day of departure.

Each pod has its own private Hot tub, if you wish to use a hot tub during your stay, please add on as a extra at check out to avoid any disappointment.
Each hot tub has to be emptied, cleaned and refilled prior to your arrival for health and hygiene reasons. We can not guarantee that temperatures of the hot tub will be up to full heat (40c) by the time you check in at 2pm. Please allow time to reach your preferred temperature and keep the COVER on when not in use, please take into consideration when booking, we would rather a fresh, clean hot tub for our guests as opposed to a hot used one.
The hot tub is non refundable against your stay. if it rains or you don’t use after booking due to chlorine cost and electricity.
Changing your booking or cancelation policy
If you wish to cancel or make rearrangements to your booking you will need to do so 7 days prior to check in. Unfortunately, we don’t issue refunds but we will issue you a rebooking voucher for the same amount of your current booking that can then be used up to 6 months after its issue date

The first pod you come to at Mill Lodge Retreat, nestled in the corner of our lake, with a large weeping willow to the left. Facing out over open water, with a reed lined bank to your right, you will be fishing in the deepest part of our lake, with depths of up to 13ft. Enjoy a dip in the hot tub whilst looking out to a spectacular view of the entire lake. The accommodation closest to all our facilities and amenities (5 metre walk). Whether you are keeping warm inside our fully insulated cabin in the winter or by your private fire pit on a summers evening, you cannot go wrong with a luxurious fishing break in pod 1.
Pod 1 can accommodate two adults and two children.
We recommend you bring the following, Towels, Bath robe, flip flops, Sanitary bag
Select both your arrival and departure date when making your booking.
Please Select, Food package for the duration of your stay for example 1 night stay requires a 1 night food package, 2 night stay requires a 2 night food package and so on.
If you wish to participate in fishing during your stay, select the number of nights fishing, then proceed to check out, any extras you wish to add we recommend you add them now to your booking to avoid any disappointment.
All food packages extras added are paid at reception when you check in,
This helps spread the cost of your initial booking and you will only be charged on the website for your stay.
We only accept CARD PAYMENTS on site we are a cashless business so please bare this in mind prior to arrival.
Terms and Conditions – Only one angler is permitted per pod, with up to 3 rods. If you wish to cancel or rearrange your booking you will need to notify us 7 days prior to your check in day. Unfortunately we do not offer refunds, this includes cancellations due to covid, changes in guidelines and natural disasters.
However, we do offer a gift voucher for the same amount as your original booking that can be used from 6 months of issue date.
